Crochet Doughnut Rattle

For this little project I was inspired by these little sound makers that I bought at a craft fair. They are sealed rattle units used to make baby toys and were calling out to become doughnuts!!

I used cotton DK and a 3.5mm hook (although next time I might try a 3mm as the holes were a bit big when stuffed).

Add plenty of stuffing and sew up the centre. This is tricky as the hole is small and the stuffing is in the way but match stitch to stitch and you will get there.
