I am very proud to say that I have finally finished my crochet star blanket! It is the first blanket that I have ever made and I love it!

It is made with Hobbycraft Women’s Institute soft and silky with a 4mm hook.

UPDATE 20/01/17:
We have used this blanket so much since our little man has arrived and it washes really well 🙂

I’m pretty crafty! I am one of those people who want to learn how to do everything – I watch hours upon hours of YouTube videos, spend ££££ on the complete kit and books. I get all excited, sit down and meh – it’s OK for a week or so, and then it gets relegated to the top shelf for the next big project! (So far, from the top of my head I have needle felting kit, lace making kit, a sewing machine, a 3D doodler, knitting needles galore, every colour of acrylic paint, blank canvases and half a dreamcatcher all tucked away in the been their done that heap!) Currently, aside from the bead restringing which is my job, the only residual craft in operation is crochet! I cannot get enough of it! I hope this one is here to stay!
